Born from a spark of innovation in August 2020, Dhaka University's Health Economics Club, initially a student-faculty initiative called Be-Pro, empowered students with the powerful tool of STATA, a programming language for economic analysis. Fueled by a year of dynamic activities, on August 14th, 2021, Be-Pro transformed into the prominent Health Economics Study Alliance. Today, the club offers a platform for students passionate about health economics, delving deep into the intricacies of health policy, resource allocation, and healthcare financing through engaging workshops, talks, and research opportunities.
